Flat Glass
Our bespoke flat glass rooflights offer superior performance and outstanding visual appeal.
Our flat glass rooflights provide a clean, minimalistic finish inside and out. Manufactured with flat sealed glass units, each rooflight incorporates a fully welded thermally broken aluminium frame and cill detail. All visible aluminium is polyester powder coated to Anthracite Grey RAL 7016 as standard or can be powder coated to a specific RAL colour if required.
The flush design ensures efficient rainwater run-off. Many rooflight accessories are available to be used in conjunction with our flat glass rooflights.
Non-fragile to CWCT Class 1 as standard ensures the highest performance in safety is achieved.

Glazing
The thickness and type of the glass is determined by the size and configuration of the rooflight unit. Special requirements can normally be accommodated.
The standard specification for these rooflights is double glazed glass with 4mm, 6mm or 8mm thick glass panes, depending on the size of the unit, and a 16mm argon-filled cavity. This ensures the rooflights provide significant thermal insulation, sound reduction also give excellent protection from traffic or other noise. Many additional finishing options are available, such as solar control and self-cleaning glass.
Our bespoke flat glass units can also be designed with walk-on specification.
Upstands
Flat glass bespoke rooflights are designed to be used in conjunction with proprietary upstands and can also be installed to existing builder’s upstands. For both options we recommend that the units are installed to a pitch of between 5˚ and 15˚.
