Sales and Customer Service Executive

Location: Cranleigh/Surrey

Sales and Customer Service Executive: Due to continued and sustained commercial success an adaptable, flexible and experienced Sales and Customer Service Executive is required for a well-established, market leader in the construction industry.
The ideal Customer Service Executive will be a self-starter with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, with a background in a servicing or manufacturing environment, preferably within the roofing/construction industry. Reporting to the Customer Service Team Lead, the Sales and Customer Service Executive will be the main point of contact for all customer enquiries.

• Receive and process incoming contractors/merchant orders/enquiries
• Process any returns and after sales queries
• Assist with administrative duties, including answering inbound calls
• Updating the CRM system and booking in company surveys
• Booking in deliveries, either via email or telephone, once scheduled by the warehouse team
• Ensure customers are fully up to date with their orders
• Managing tasks simultaneously to meet strict deadlines

Skills and Experience:
• Plenty of customer service experience, preferably in a servicing or manufacturing background – and experience in a sales focused environment
• A passion for providing excellent customer service
• Negotiation & influencing skills
• A self-starter and problem solver – able to work through complex issues on their own
• Ability to manage and organise workload and maintain with clear time and task management
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• A proactive approach and a can do attitude with an eye for detail and attention to detail
• Highly IT literate with an aptitude and willingness to learn new technology (user of a CRM (preferably Gold-Vision), MS Office & ERP)
