Em-Vents are electrically operated smoke vent rooflights designed to reduce smoke build up in buildings and enable electric roof access to the building. They are fitted with smoke sensors and an integrated automatic opening vent (IAOV). Em-Vent smoke vent skylights allow key fire escape routes, such as stairwells and corridors, to remain usable with minimal smoke build-up. Combined with Em-Dome skylights, they also help maximise natural light.
Available as either glazed or solid covers, Em-Vent smoke ventilators come in a wide range of stock sizes appropriate for various site dimensions and meeting building regulations. These roof smoke ventilators can be ordered with a 140° opening to assist compliance with the new Smoke Ventilation Standard EN 12101. These rooflights are also available in a 90° opening to meet Building Regulation ADB and for electric roof access.
Em-Vent accessories include control panels, additional smoke detectors and manual control points.
